Farewell Dinner for Prof. Robert A. Gross

A farewell dinner for Prof. Robert A. Gross was held on April 20, 1993. 125 people attended and, through the generosity of alumni, colleagues, and friends, the Department was able to present him with a Mac Power Book 180.
In addition, $6,000 was raised to establish the Robert A. Gross Graduate Scholarship Award which will be presented for the first time to an entering plasma physics graduate student in 1994.
