Nowick Co-Authors "Anelastic Relaxation in Crystalline Solids"

Arthur Nowick, a pioneer in internal friction, anelasticity, crystal defects, producing metastable alloys, and transforming materials science from a field focused on metals to one that encompasses all classes of materials, and a member of the materials science effort, co-authors the definitive book, “Anelastic Relaxation in Crystalline Solids,” which he followed with "Crystal Properties via Group Theory" in 1996.
